This shot was taken in the harbor of Princeton-by-the-Sea (http://tinyurl.com/d8hq3ag) a small town north of Half Moon Bay, California and home to the Mavericks surf contest. I normally aim for simplicity in my photographs, but for this one the combination of the colored lights in the background and the sheer number of intersecting lines from the different ships in the harbor made for an interesting image.
