This is what is left of a boiler and a boiler room in a building at Mare Island Naval Shipyard near San Francisco (http://tinyurl.com/c46qlcc). Mare Island was the first Pacific Navy Base, but is now closed. There are many buildings in various states of disrepair and I thought this was an interesting view. I wonder if anyone bothered to call the number when the boiler finally failed?
